If completed, the Anthem-Cigna merger could be among the largest in history. But before the takeover happens, the companies need to prove the deal won't violate federal anti-trust laws.

Anthem's deal with Connecticut-based Cigna had been in the works for more than a year. However, in recent months experts started speculating about the feasibility of the $48 billion merger, reasoning the deal could potentially violate anti-trust laws.

Sen. Joe Donnelly visited Indianapolis' northwest side to meet with citizens and kickstart a plan to fight crime and aid development.

Gary Mayor Karen Freeman-Wilson says she hopes the three-year initiative will help residents in her struggling city to feel closer to the police force, "and not view them as kind of a separate entity that imposes on them."
