Opponents of RFK Jr.'s nomination to head the Department of Health and Human Services were joined on Friday by an unlikely figure: former Indiana governor and U.S. Vice President Mike Pence.

Advocates said they are afraid of how the results of state and national races will affect access to reproductive care. Organizers expect more attacks on reproductive rights in the near future.

Astin Vick won election as a write-in candidate and will join the board in January.
