Q&A
What do you consider the two most important issues facing Hoosiers who will see your name on their ballot this November? And if elected, what policies will you push for to address each one?
1. Corruption. Our government is a puppet show owned and operated by a consortium of military, monetary, corporate, foreign government and other actors that don't give a whit about US citizens. Everything else is a symptom of this anti-constitutional corruption.2. The escalating global militarism and aggressive opposition to USA's bullying hegemony that may lead to WWIII, but will certainly lead to the collapse of our economy and culture.
It's all documented in my book, "Relighting the Torch." It details PROVEN plans for fixing this whole self-immolating mess. We can have peace, prosperity, security and freedom greater than anything humanity's ever experienced if only we'd...well...it's all in the book. But we can have what we, collectively, want. We've already got what we've been voting for, and that sucks.
We've heard from many in our audience that they feel frustrated — sometimes disenfranchised — by our current political landscape. These feelings sometimes contribute to people deciding not to vote, and Indiana consistently ranks near the bottom of the list on voter turnout. What would you say to a potential voter who feels this way?
WE'VE NOT EVEN TRIED TO VOTE THEM OUT!!! Reelection rates are embarrassing. Most never even consider independent or "third party" options. You won't get term limits from the incumbents we keep reelecting. We won't get any positive change until we vote away the unconstitutional, inherently divisive and destructive "Two Party System" our founders so strongly warned against.Try it. Just try voting different. That's our power of peaceful revolution, and certainly our Plan A.
Economic anxiety is top of mind for many in our audience and around the country, with a common concern being inflation and the high price of basic needs. In all the complexity around economic issues, what specific changes need to happen to help Hoosiers and their families?
End the unconstitutional Fed and the fiat currency system that's unconstitutional by both state and federal constitutions. That's the only way to curb political spending to what's actually sustainable. It's the only way to make horrendous debt impossible. The simplest definition of inflation is too many dollars chasing too few goods, but look up the Cantillon Effect to see how fiat currency's inflation makes the rich richer, and the rest of us pay for it in every way.*
*Editor’s note: For clarification, a country’s fiat currency is one issued by a government but isn’t backed by a commodity such as gold. This money injection, which typically flows first into central banks, private equity firms, corporates and government institutions, may create an unequal impact of inflation, according to what’s known as the Cantillion effect. That’s because, in simple terms, this money injection will take a longer time until it circulates to be felt by the general public.

Q&A
What do you consider the two most important issues facing Hoosiers who will see your name on their ballot this November? And if elected, what policies will you push for to address each one?
I think Hoosiers are worried about what their future holds. What does a future in Indiana look like post-Roe v. Wade, and what will happen to our communities if we continue to allow this mental health crisis to go unchecked? I hear your concerns – and I will fight for solutions. I am committed to supporting Hoosier women’s access to abortion by enshrining Roe into law. As a clinical psychologist, I have seen how our policies fail to meet the needs of our community members who need it most, and as your Senator I will look at every piece of legislation through a mental health lens. I want every piece of policy to consider how it really impacts people, and make sure that we are actually providing the support needed. This includes improving access to healthcare and mental health services in our rural communities, and making that care affordable for everyone. We all need help and care, but it needs to be accessible and affordable to everyone.
I understand their frustrations, it is why I ran for office in the first place. I saw the needs of my community go completely unheard and I could not sit and do nothing for another minute. When you vote, you’re not just casting a ballot; you’re standing up for a future that reflects your values and priorities. Without your vote, you are leaving your future up to others. It is not just your future, but the future of America, that rests in your ballot. I am not giving up on the hope that there is a brighter future ahead for Indiana because I am here ready to work hard to make it happen. Make a plan now to get out and vote in November, check your voter registration status, and remember that you are not alone. We can only make change if we do it together, and I hope you will join me in the fight.
Economic anxiety is top of mind for many in our audience and around the country, with a common concern being inflation and the high price of basic needs. In all the complexity around economic issues, what specific changes need to happen to help Hoosiers and their families?
Hoosiers are feeling the pressure at the checkout counter, and it feels like it gets worse with every trip to the store. You want to work in an economy that works for you and your family, but right now it doesn’t. We can start fixing this by closing tax loopholes for the ultra-wealthy to make sure that everyone pays their fair share, and you are not footing the bill for another tax cut only enjoyed by the ultra-wealthy. You should not be paying more taxes than a billionaire! We also must support unions and protects worker rights to ensure that you are fairly paid enough to live comfortably. This includes supporting legislation that protects labor organization efforts, raising the federal minimum wage, and ensuring your paycheck is fair regardless of gender or race. Only one candidate for US Senate in Indiana is endorsed by union groups – and that is me. As your Senator, I will fight to bring relief to hard working Hoosiers.
