Q&A

What do you consider the two most important issues facing Hoosiers who will see your name on their ballot this November? And if elected, what policies will you push for to address each one?

The two biggest issues our district faces is giving power back to local communities and making Indiana affordable for Hoosier families. Local Hoosiers must have the power to decide what is best for their communities like addressing our community's concerns over a state-wide water policy. I’ll also fight to lower taxes to help Hoosiers thrive and support local businesses by cutting unnecessary regulations.

We've heard from many in our audience that they feel frustrated — sometimes disenfranchised — by our current political landscape. These feelings sometimes contribute to people deciding not to vote, and Indiana consistently ranks near the bottom of the list on voter turnout. What would you say to a potential voter who feels this way?

At 18 years old, I took an oath to defend and protect the United States of America. As your next State Representative, I’ll continue protecting the freedoms and Hoosier values we cherish. You deserve a representative who will listen to and fight for you. In the Statehouse, my main priority will always be serving you and your family.

Economic anxiety is top of mind for many in our audience and around the country, with a common concern being inflation and the high price of basic needs. In all the complexity around economic issues, what specific changes need to happen to help Hoosiers and their families?

Washington DC politicians and Indianapolis bureaucrats are crushing Hoosier families with high inflation and burdensome taxes. In the Statehouse, I’ll fight to cut wasteful spending, address Indiana’s out-of-control property taxes, and support local businesses. We must find common sense solutions to regrow our economy and give Hoosiers an opportunity to achieve the American dream.
