The full Indianapolis City-County Council met Monday night and received a COVID-19 update from business and community leaders. The council also passed a proposal that advance work on IndyGo's Purple Line.

The Municipal Corporations Committee of the Indianapolis City-County Council heard from IndyGo about the planned Purple Line. The line is the second of two more planned rapid transit lines for Indianapolis.

Around 30 attended the meeting and gave feedback on topics ranging from public safety to route changes.

IndyGo continues to seek public feedback on its transit upgrade through public presentations and Q&As.

Public meetings to gather input for Indianapolis' second rapid transit line, are scheduled begin next week.
