Gov. Eric Holcomb has appointed nearly 30 more judges in his eight years in office than his two predecessors combined appointed in 12 years.

The five state Supreme Court and Court of Appeals judges that were on the ballot in Indiana this year easily kept their seats on the bench in Tuesday’s election.

All 18 Marion County trial court judges handily won a ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ retention vote.
