One of three Dutch soldiers wounded in a shooting outside a hotel in downtown Indianapolis over the weekend has died, the Defense Ministry said Monday.

The agency said in a statement that detectives were working to identify those involved in the shooting and that "the release of certain investigative information could negatively impact the ability to obtain justice in this case."

Authorities have made an arrest in the fatal shooting of a 16-year-old boy who was gunned down Thursday morning while waiting at a suburban Indianapolis school bus stop by an assailant who fled the scene on foot, officials said.

The Indiana Crime Guns Task Force has confiscated more than 350 guns and arrested almost 400 people in its first year.

Agents were unable to recover data from the laptop found in the gunman’s oven, Herb Stapleton, the special agent in charge of the FBI’s Indianapolis office, said during a media briefing.

A Richmond police officer was critically wounded and a man was injured in a shootout following a traffic stop and search for possible narcotics, authorities said.

The case is the 37th interstate shooting that troopers and detectives from the state police Indianapolis District have investigated so far in 2022.

Greenwood city officials identified the shooter, victims, and armed civilian involved in Sunday's mass shooting at the Greenwood Park Mall during a press conference Monday afternoon.

Beech Grove Police say the Sunday night shooter fled Don Challis Park after firing dozens of rounds, and the suspect is still at large. Police are looking for a newer-model white Toyota Camry, possibly with a window shot out.

A shooting occurred Sunday night in Beech Grove that left one person dead and three people injured. Police did not immediately release information about the victims or shooter.
