54% of Indianapolis homicide cases were solved in 2021
The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department released its 2021 homicide report Monday, which found 45.76% of homicide cases are unsolved. The other 54.24% of homicides are considered to be “cleared” meaning they have resulted in an arrest.
