Beautiful Moment: Ransom Place

Downtown, Historic Ransom Place sits at the cross section of tremendous change and a powerful history. As IUPUI's campus expands, and new development reaches neighborhood edges, neighbors are determined to celebrate and remember the neighborhood's place in Indy's rich African American history. Today, a once vacant lot that sits across from the Cultural Trail, is now a pocket park; defined by the beauty of a native landscape, and an artful wall sharing the history of the neighborhood's business leaders and families.
