Beautiful Moment: Fall Creek

Along Fall Creek, from the State Fairgrounds to Ivy Tech's campus, neighbors have been working to make this polluted waterway a community asset. Today, as you bike, hike or drive, youcan see their impact. A landscape once choked with invasive plants is now graced with thousands of native flowers -- like Purple Coneflower, Black Eyed Susans and Milkweed, and oak savannah and an orchard for culinary students. It is a haven for birds, butterflies and bees and a project recognized internationally for its innovation. Take a stroll along Fall Creek Parkway and see th amazing transformation.
