Beautiful Moment: KIB Headquarters

When Keep Indianapolis Beautiful needed a new home, it chose the intersection of Fletcher and Shelby, near the heart of Fountain Square. KIB wanted to be a part of the neighborhood's story, taking a contaminated, vacant proporty and restoring it. Today, ths site filters stormwater with its rain gardens, welcomes pollinators to its green rooftop, and even boasts a dog-friendly office. In the summer, this once empty place employs 90 Indy teenagers, and in the winter it hosts hundreds of visitors among its LEED-certified walls to learn best practices for sustainability in an urban environment. We're proud to have been a part of the area's commercial and residential renaissance, and we're excited for the future of Indianapolis.
