Beautiful Moment: Community Baptist

At Community Missionary Baptist Church, Rev. Ward had a problem. Across the street from his new daycare was a vacant lot attracting drug dealers, gangs and gunfire. In the church basement, a vision was put to paper, Keep Indianapolis Beautiful joined in, and soon this despairing place was transformed. Children now play in the lot, and raise vegetables for neighbors. And the violence and disobedience has moved elsewhere.
