One teenager was killed and another wounded in Fountain Square early Sunday morning, according to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.

Officers arrived at a residence in the 800 block of Villa Avenue and found a teenage girl inside the house with injuries consistent with gunshot wounds. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers also found a teenage boy with a gunshot wound. He was taken to Riley Hospital for Children and is in stable condition.

According to IMPD, detectives learned a party occurred before the shooting that included "many teenagers". IMPD encourages neighbors to look at videos they have that may have captured this incident, or people or vehicles in the area at the time.
