Historic Urban Neighborhoods of Indianapolis, or HUNI, now offers free, digital historic walking and biking tours through an app. Maps of eight of the 23 historic neighborhoods are now available.

From our Arts and Culture Desk, WFYI’s Jill Ditmire spoke with HUNI Digital Tours Project Manager Lorraine Phillips Vavul about how the tours work and who HUNI hopes will find them valuable -- including students in those neighborhood schools.

You can learn more at the HUNI website.
