Local DJ, Columnist To Debut Show On WFYI

WFYI Public Radio debuts a new radio program with local DJ and NUVO columnist Kyle Long on Wednesday, July 2. "A Cultural Manifesto" explores the merging of a wide spectrum of global music with the more familiar American styles of music, such as soul, hip-hop and jazz. In each episode listeners can expect to hear intriguing new sounds and styles of music from all sorts of international traditions. Long spoke with WFYI's Jill Ditmire about the show.

You can hear "A Cultural Manifesto" Wednesdays at 7 p.m. and Saturdays at 3 p.m. on 90.1 HD2. If you don't have an HD radio, you can listen online.
