The holiday shopping season typically means a sharp increase in mail delivered during the holiday season, in part due to online shopping. With all those holiday packages on doorsteps comes an increased risk for package theft.

WFYI’s Taylor Bennett spoke with Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department Officer Michael Hewitt about ways people can protect themselves from package thieves this holiday season.
