Indianapolis will have another scooter company in town.
Lyft will join Bird, Lime and Spin after the Department of Business and Neighborhood Services (BNS) gave final approval on Thursday.
The black and pink scooters will be reviewed at a special meeting on May 10th at 10am with BNS to introduce and adopt regulations regarding shared mobility operators.
The regulations are expected to include caps on the number of companies allowed to operate in the city, caps on the number of scooters permitted, and restrictions regarding where companies are allowed to set out the scooters.
