Food For Thought: An Indiana Harvest

Food For Thought: An Indiana Harvest

On Sunday, Feb. 23 at 2 p.m. WFYI 1 will air  “Pride and Joy” which takes a look at Southern Food ways.   The show takes a look at the men and women who grow, prepare and serve Southern food and drink and how it relates to place, civil rights, gender and diversity in the modern American South.

Two years ago  author David Hoppe and photographer Kristen Hess did the same thing. They traveled Indiana exploring and defining its “food ways”.  The result is the book  “Food For Thought: An Indiana Harvest.”    www.indianaharvest.com
