Indianapolis filmmaker Tai Payne wanted to take the short movies he and his colleagues have been producing for social media to the big screen.

He collected entries through social media, and will be showing the shorts as part of the 4Scene Film Festival this Thursday night at the Tibbs Drive-In Theater.

From WFYI's Arts and Culture Desk, Jill Ditmire spoke with Payne about the submissions he received and why these stories are valuable.
