Tell us who you are and a bit about your organization?
I’m Mike Wilson, Chairman of Leaf Software Solutions. For 34 years, Leaf has provided software solutions to Central Indiana corporations. It has been our mission to be a part of the Indiana corporate fabric that enables economic growth for the state, while building a reputation for doing business with integrity and excellence. Our team at Leaf is a sophisticated, educated and fascinating diverse group of individuals.
What role does public media play in your life?
I need a source of trustworthy news that helps inform my conversations and business decisions. WFYI has proven to be that source for me.
Why does your organization support WFYI?
Our team is a relevant part of the community that WFYI serves, absorbing information about current events, entertainment in the area, and ways to connect to like-minded individuals. As an owner of Leaf, I want to support WFYI so that our team will have access to the value provided by this reporting. Leaf has delivered our business value proposition through our messaging in support of WFYI. Through this messaging, businesses like Leaf Software Solutions are able to communicate how we can help Indiana corporations prosper as they benefit from the technology solutions we deliver.
If you could recommend just one WFYI program, what would it be?
I would recommend “All Things Considered.” (Airs weekdays at 4 p.m. and weekends at 5 p.m. on 90.1 FM WFYI Public Radio) I spend a good deal of time traveling around central Indiana, and listen to WFYI on my car radio as I drive. I appreciate hearing the latest updates on businesses in Indiana, cultural news and the latest on public affairs.
