The beloved Halloween special comes to PBS on October 24. But it won't be available on all platforms. Here's your guide on how to watch.
Do you believe in the Great Pumpkin? Whether you are a true believer like Linus or a skeptic like Peppermint Patty, all Peanuts fans will be able to watch Charlie Brown, Snoopy, and the gang celebrate Halloween this year. PBS teamed up with Apple for a special, ad-free broadcast of “It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” on October 24. This program will not be available for streaming on the PBS or WFYI Apps, but here is how you can watch:
Watch live on WFYI, your local PBS station.
If you watch WFYI through one of your local cable companies (or YouTube TV), you are all set. Just tune in at 7:30 p.m. (ET) on October 24 (check your local listings to confirm the time.) Likewise, if you get WFYI over the air with an antenna, you can simply tune in at 7:30 p.m. (ET) on Sunday, October 24.
This program will not be available on your station's livestream on PBS.org or the PBS or WFYI Apps.
Watch on your local PBS KIDS channel.
Because WFYI 2 is a PBS KIDS channel, this program will air on that channel. Once again, if you access PBS KIDS through one of your local cable companies (or YouTube TV), you are all set. Just tune in on October 24 at 7:30 p.m. Likewise, if you get WFYI 2 over the air with an antenna, you are set.
Please note that this program will not be available on pbskids.org or the PBS KIDS Video App.
