On the latest installment of The Checkup, the health team looks into sociopolitical stress and the election season. Indianapolis-based drugmaker Eli Lilly says it sued three medical spas and online vendors on Monday because they sold products claiming to contain Tirzepatide. The U.S. Supreme Court’s 2022 decision to end guaranteed abortion rights has both Democrats and Republicans talking about national abortion legislation. The Environmental Protection Agency finalized a rule this week to protect kids from lead paint in homes and child care centers.
