Juveniles Arrested for Alleged Violent Threats at IPS, Indy Department Wants Staff to Maintain Parks, Pathways for Aging Enrollment Starts Soon, Crisis Counselors Say They're Facing Abuse

Two juveniles were arrested for allegedly making violent threats against Indianapolis-area schools last week. The Indianapolis Department of Public Works is asking the city for money to add more employees to its workforce. Medicaid members in the Pathways for Aging program will have the opportunity to change plans during the first open enrollment period since the new program launched in July. Crisis counselors help people who may be on the cusp of taking their own life – but some say they face verbal and sexual abuse from a small fraction of callers.
