Indiana’s Infant Mortality Rate, Lawmakers Eye School Choice Expansion for 2025 Legislative Session, Physician Noncompete Case, Health Experts on Potential Fluoride Removal

Provisional data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention shows Indiana is no longer among the ten worst states for infant mortality. School choice expansion has emerged as a potential priority for lawmakers in the 2025 legislative session. A judge ruled in favor of an Indiana physician in his case against Fort wayne-based Lutheran Medical Group. Trump’s pick to head the Department of Health and Human Services has said he wants to remove fluoride from U.S. water systems.
