Gun Violence Over the Weekend, Rocky Start at Broad Ripple Middle School, Federal Funds to Reduce Greenhouse Gas, IMPD Officer Charged, Rental Companies Sued for Tenant Screening

A total of 14 people were shot over the weekend in Indianapolis. The reconfiguration of grades in Indianapolis Public Schools had a rocky start, causing over a hundred students to leave the new Broad Ripple Middle School. The U.S. Department of Energy will give a Midwest hydrogen hub up to $1 billion to start planning projects to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. An IMPD officer has been charged with numerous criminal offenses including felony voyeurism and misconduct. An Indianapolis man and a fair housing organization are suing two rental companies for alleged discriminatory tenant screening policies.
