Flu Cases Stress Emergency Rooms, IU Indy Gets Research 1 Status, Carmel Girls Swim Title Win, Indiana Joins States Asking for Landmark Law to be Declared Unconstitutional

The increase in flu cases is stressing emergency rooms, according to the Marion County Health Department. Indiana University Indianapolis recently received Research 1 status from the Carnegie Classification of Institutions of Higher Education. The streak continues for the Carmel girls swim team. Indiana is one of several conservative states asking a court to declare a landmark law to protect people with disabilities unconstitutional.
