Children Lack Access to Free Book Program, Rental Housing with Substance Use Support, Impact of Gun Violence on Young People, Importance of Romantic Bonds for Breast Cancer Survivors

Children in Marion County are still lacking access to a free book program through Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library. Indiana wants to create rental housing developments with supportive services for people with substance use disorder. Gun violence remains an issue on Indianapolis streets – the dozens of victims this year include young people under 18. New data analysis shows that a supportive romantic partner can lead to better mental and physical health for breast cancer survivors.
