Championing the position that Africa is poor because she is not free, Dr. George Ayittey has devoted his life to bettering conditions in African nations.  Dr. Ayittey received his Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Ghana, his Master’s at the University of Western Ontario, and his Ph.D. in Economics at the University of Manitoba. He has been a professor at Wayne State College in Nebraska, Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania and American University, received a National Fellowship at the Hoover Institution, and was a Bradley Resident Scholar at The Heritage Foundation.
