Thomas Wolfe & "Forgotten" Writers
May 18, 2017
This weekend Indianapolis will host the annual convention of the Thomas Wolfe Society, which honors the life and works of the early 20th century American author. The Crossroads of America is where Wolfe arrived on the Southwestern Limited on his way to Purdue University to deliver his 1938 "Writing and Living" lecture. Today on No Limits, we'll discuss Wolfe, the loss of so-called "forgotten writers," and fans who don't forget after all. Our guests will be Mark Canada, PhD, English Professor at IU Kokomo and president of the Thomas Wolfe Society, along with convention speaker and renowned autobiographer A. Scott Berg.
