Historic Preservation
May 02, 2017
Talking about what is often seen as the two enemies of historic preservation: time and money. Indiana Landmarks just awarded the Cook Cup for Historic Preservation this past weekend, while also releasing its annual list of the 10 Most Endangered places. Plus, the iconic German church of German Church Road was thought to be saved - but now faces a Thursday deadline to beat the wrecking ball. Our guests are Marsh Davis, President of Indiana Landmarks; Sarah Halter, executive director of the Indiana Medical History Museum, a previous 10 Most Endangered site, and a champion of old Fire Station 18, on the new list; and April Fisher, Cumberland town manager, to talk about the German church.
