Good News Bad News: Reflections on Our Access to Health Care
The state of health care in Indiana is a good news/bad news situation.
The good news is: we are living in an era of medical research and scientific discovery that is yielding unprecedented, near-miraculous results. The bad news is: the cost of health care keeps going up.
What are the forces behind the events that have caused health care costs to skyrocket? What can we do to make wise choices for ourselves, our families, our businesses and our state? Jim Shella, host of "Indiana Week in Review" and WISH TV statehouse reporter, will host a discussion with state and local leaders. They will tackle the tough questions, explain the issues and policy implications and suggest alternatives so that viewers can go beyond the sound bites to make informed decisions.
"Good News/Bad News: Reflections on Our Access to Health Care" is a partnership of WFYI Public Media and WISH TV and is part of the Critical Condition national outreach campaign designed by Outreach Extensions in collaboration with the PBS series P.O.V, through a generous grant from the Annie E. Casey Foundation.
