Rodney Stepp played the Zaire '74 concert when he was keyboardist and assistant musical director for The Spinners. On the show are tracks from Rodney's work with The Diplomatics, Jazzie Cazzie and The Seven Sounds, The Spinners - and two never before heard soul ballads from Rodney's Midwest funk supergroup Rapture, who recorded two extraordinary LPs that were never issued.

Continuing loosely on that theme, this week's edition of Cultural Manifesto will look back at a pair of interviews I recorded in 2015 featuring Indianapolis artists sharing their concerns over the policies and rhetoric of Mike Pence and Donald Trump.
