The Friday Pitch-In
June 26, 2020
Indiana recently launched a grant program to help schools improve remote learning. The added money is meant to increase the amount of devices available for students, help close gaps in connectivity, and train teachers in remote instruction. Plus, thousands of Hoosier renters facing eviction in the coming weeks might get a little help from the state. Today we get updates on these stories and more.
We also hear about Indiana’s new hands-free driving law, set to go into effect next Wednesday. And we talk to the author behind a new study out of Notre Dame that says your likelihood to take issue with government laws and restrictions can depend a lot on where you stand politically.
