Helping People With Special Needs
April 20, 2020
Today we talk about how the pandemic is affecting kids and adults with special needs, and how the people who take care of them are learning and adapting to make things better.
We talk to a parent about how he’s helped his daughter, who is on the autism spectrum, make some major adjustments. And we talk to the leaders of a group that runs programs and services for people with developmental and behavioral disabilities, including a residential campus that houses about 200 children with special needs, to find out how they’re adapting.
Produced by Drew Daudelin.
