Conspiracy Theories Around the 2020 Election
November 05, 2020
Conspiracy theories have made their way into mainstream politics, with QAnon and misinformation about large-scale voter fraud among the most visible. Today we talk about a new study on misinformation and conspiracy theories around the 2020 election.
We find out where these ideas come from, how they spread on social media, and how they might have impacted voters this year. And we go in-depth on conspiracy theories like QAnon, which is getting increased attention this week after QAnon supporter Marjorie Taylor Greene won a House seat in Georgia.
Produced by Micah Yason.
