Climate Change and the Energy Grid
March 04, 2021
Millions in Texas were left without power after Winter Storm Uri two weeks ago, and it's left many people wondering what this says about energy grids in Indiana and across the country.
Today we learn about concerns people have about the country's power system, and how public discourse around the Texas crisis reveals beliefs and attitudes around climate science. We also find out what experts are doing to predict extreme events, and what can be done to prepare ourselves for future disasters.
