An Iconic Downtown Clock Keeps Time Again At Last
No one remembers exactly when the L.S. Ayres clock stopped, but earlier this year, Indiana Landmarks launched a fundraising campaign to get it going again. In less than a month, the preservation organization had raised $60,000 - enough to restore it to its former beauty and establish a repair fund.

Marion County Launches New Pedestrian Safety Campaign
A coalition is working to make Indianapolis more pedestrian-friendly. A new safety education campaign was unveiled today. WalkWays is a partnership of Health by Design, the City of Indianapolis and the Marion County Public Health Department. The campaign includes ads on IndyGo buses, yard signs and social media graphics.

7 Arrested After More Than 500 Gather In Anti-Trump Rally
Saturday marked the fourth day of anti-Trump protests nationwide, including one in Indianapolis. After the protest, two IMPD officers were hit with rocks but uninjured. Seven people were arrested, but the protest was otherwise peaceful.

Campaign To Restore Beloved Downtown Clock Exceeds Goal
Fundraising efforts to restore a local downtown landmark have proven to be successful. The Indiana Landmarks Foundation launched a campaign this month to raise $60,000 dollars by Nov. 7 to repair the Ayres clock at the southwest corner of Washington and Meridian streets. That goal was reached this week.
