Scaffolding has surrounded the Indiana War Memorial since late last summer.  The work is part of a $2.2 million project to fix a leaky roof. The project is expected to be completed this summer.

WFYI’s Taylor Bennett spoke with Logan Cook, an engineer with Wiss, Janney, Elstner and Associates, about repairs to the historic landmark. He will tell the tale of the crew that scaled the Memorial’s ziggurat roof to find the source of the leaks at a public talk Thursday night, at the Indiana Landmarks Center.
