Only one seat is contested: the race between Hope Hampton and Kristen Elizabeth Phair for District 3, which encompasses the midtown area of Indianapolis. Angelia Moore seeks an at-large seat, and Nicole Carey seeks the District 5 seat, which includes the northwest part of the district.
Hear the four candidates’ priorities for the district and opinions of IPS’ expansive overhaul plan, teacher retention and more during WFYI and Chalkbeat Indiana’s forum, starting at 6 p.m.
