Tanker Leaks Lubricant At Indy Rail Yard

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Authorities say crews were working to clean up a lubricant that leaked from a train tanker at an Indianapolis rail yard.

City Fire Department Capt. Rita Reith says crews were called to the rail yard on the city's east side early Friday to assist CSX workers with the spill. Reith says the tanker leaked a non-hazardous lubricant.

CSX officials say that four rail cars with the lubricant derailed during a switching operation.

No injuries were reported, and officials say the lubricant has been contained.
