In 2010, Indiana’s U.S. Sen. Evan Bayh announced he was leaving politics. Instead, he entered the race for his old Senate seat this summer.
But the man once called “the most easily electable Democrat in Indiana” is facing a tight race against Republican Congressman Todd Young, a Marine who has hammered Bayh on his ties to Hillary Clinton.
