Indianapolis private school Park Tudor announced this afternoon it will close today and reopen after its spring break on April 13. Starting next week, students will continue classwork remotely through online e-learning.

No one at the school has been diagnosed with COVID-19 but a parent has recently been in close proximity to someone who tested positive for the illness caused by the novel coronavirus, the school said in a statement.

Additionally, two other people within the school community may have been "in close contact with another individual who has tested positive," according to the statement.

The northside Park Tudor enrolls students in pre-K through 12th grade.

More information is available from the school at https://www.parktudor.org/parents/covid-19
