Panel Picks 3 Nominees For IURC vacancy

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — The Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission's nominating committee has given Gov. Mike Pence three suggestions for a vacancy on the panel.

The nominating committee announced Wednesday that it recommended Carol Drake, Robert Hartley and James Huston for the open seat. Pence will select one of the three finalists for the vacancy.

The vacancy was created when former IURC Chairman Jim Atterholt stepped down to become Pence's chief of staff. Atterholt's term expires March 31, 2017.
