Pacers Bikeshare Program Growing

More and more people are using the Indiana Pacers Bikeshare program in downtown Indianapolis.

Program Executive Director Kären Haley says the bikeshare program currently has 29 stations, with more than 250 bikes to rent. All the stations are within a block of the Indianapolis Cultural Trail.

"The residents of Indianapolis truly use our bikeshare program," Haley says. "They use it for everything from commuting, to meeting friends for drinks, to traveling around between meetings and downtown, and I think that’s a really neat feature."

The bikeshare offers discounts to low-income riders in its EveryBody Rides program.

The bikes will also be an integral part of the new Indy Cultural Trail Food Tours.
