The Central Indiana Police Foundation has established a fund in honor of fallen Indianapolis police officer Breann Leath.

Leath, 24, was shot and killed in the line of duty Thursday responding to a call for help related to a domestic disturbance.

The foundation has been designated by the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department as the official fundraiser to accept donations on behalf of Officer Leath’s family, to provide a trust for her young son.

Tax deductible donations can be made by visiting the Central Indiana Police Foundation's website: https://cipf.foundation/officer-leath-fund/.

IMPD says further announcements of opportunities to help honor Officer Leath will be made through official department channels.
