Indianapolis motivational comedian Kevin Wanzer uses humor to help groups learn better ways to connect with each other. Before the pandemic, his work week might have included airline travel and speaking to large groups of people in auditoriums. He's had more time at home now.

From our Arts and Culture desk, Wazner spoke with WFYI’s Jill Ditmire by phone about change, the current civic action through protests, and what he believes is possible when people "choose love" and take a stand "for what's different."

Wanzer says his motivational message of choosing to love includes being authentic, being grateful and practicing those qualities at home.
