A Johnson County Election Board official says they're implementing a "workaround" with their election vendor to get things back up and running.

Election Board member Cindy Rapp says the lines are moving again. The wait at some polling locations was more than an hour after trouble with election systems this morning.

Some voters reported waiting more than an hour in line.

There are voting locations in Johnson County without waits. The election systems problem did not affect all voting locations, Rapp says.

"We'll see how much we can get through in the next five and a half hours," Rapp said.

The polls close at 6 p.m.
