The Indiana Conference for Women celebrates its 10th anniversary this week.
The event is the largest one-day professional development conference in the Midwest.
Co-Founder Deborah Collins Stephens said it is educational and inspirational for many women.
“Women talk about how the conference changed their lives from the messages they heard and from the other women they met,” Collins Stephens said.
Collins Stephens outlined what she envisions from the conference in the next 10 years.
“I want to see a woman who has attended this conference who goes on to create a billion-dollar company. I want to see a woman who has overcome many, many obstacles that stood in their way of following their dream,” Collins Stephens said.
The conference takes place Wednesday at the Indiana Convention Center.
Keynote speakers include Taraji P. Henson, Jameela Jamil and Mae Whitman.
