Kind Indiana: Saying Thank You

Ever since a life changing bicycle crash in Avon’s Washington Township Park, Ron Sage has been wanting to say thank you to the first person that found him after the accident.  That person turned out to be John Berry, the fire chief and town marshal for North Salem, Indiana, who just happened to be in a meeting in that park that afternoon. Four years after the crash, WFYI’s Kind Indiana project got the two together at the North Salem Fire Department in Hendricks County.
