Juvenile who was shot on north side of Indianapolis dies

A juvenile has died after he was shot on Indianapolis' north side Tuesday.

According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers responded to the 4400 block of College Avenue at about 7 p.m. Tuesday on a report of a person shot. When officers arrived, they found a juvenile male outside with a gunshot wound. The juvenile was transported to the hospital in critical condition.

On Thursday, medical staff pronounced the 15-year-old juvenile deceased.

The investigation is ongoing and no further information has been released at this time. The name of the juvenile will be released once next of kin has been notified.
